The air-to-water heat pump DAIKIN Altherma 3 is a third-generation heat pump series. Models in this series operate on the basis of R32 freon, which is environmentally friendly and at the same time is able to achieve higher energy efficiency.
Heating
The heat pumps draw renewable energy from the air, making home heating more energy-efficient and sustainable.
Hot water
Using only renewable air energy, the Daikin Altherma high-temperature heat pump can heat domestic hot water to temperatures of up to 80°C.
The Daikin Altherma air-to-water heat pump provides heating, cooling, and hot water supply while significantly reducing CO₂ emissions.
The evaporator extracts energy from a renewable energy source (air, water, geothermal or solar) by converting a liquid into a gas.
The compressor compresses the gas, thereby increasing its temperature.
The condenser transfers heat from the gas to the heating system and the gas returns to its liquid state.
The expansion valve reduces the pressure of the refrigerant, thus initiating evaporation, and the cycle starts over.
High performance, easy installation, and simple operation. The third generation Daikin Altherma sets a new standard for air-to-water heat pumps.
High-temperature air-to-water heat pumps are an excellent choice for renovation projects and replacing old boilers. Thanks to the compact design of the Daikin Altherma, installation requires very little space and the system integrates seamlessly with existing pipework and radiators. This allows you to enjoy the efficiency and comfort of a modern heat pump without having to replace your entire heating system.
